About the U21 Museums Gateway

 

The idea of a webpresence for the collections and museums in Universitas 21 was conceived in July 2005 in a workshop following the conference, Precious Resources: University Museums of the 21st Century. Since the conference all universities within Universitas 21 have joined the project.

Participating institutions believe that it is important to demonstrate that this association of University Museums exists, and to show examples of their collections. Mutual benfits could flow from collaborations between the institutions. We ask all our colleagues to join together in developing these associations in the future.
